The winners of the Slovenian (and youth) awards for social responsibility and sustainable development HORUS and ADRASTOS 2025 have been announced
In Ljubljana, we presented awards and recognitions to 22 recipients.
(Ljubljana, December 16, 2025) Today, IRDO – Institute for the Development of Social Responsibility awarded 14 exceptional organizations and individuals with awards and recognitions for social responsibility and sustainable development HORUS 2025. It also awarded 8 exceptional projects by and for young people within the framework of ADRASTOS 2025 – Slovenian Youth Awards for Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development. The ADRASTOS Award was awarded for the third time this year, and the HORUS Award for the seventeenth time in a row. The honorary patron of both awards is Tina Kosi, M.Sc., Director of the Slovenian Youth Office.
Horus is one of the most recognizable professional awards in the field of social responsibility and sustainable development in Slovenia, with the longest history of awarding. Since 2009, more than 300 organizations and individuals have been awarded Horus awards and recognitions. This year, the applications of the candidates were assessed in two rounds and in different categories by a total of 14 independent experts from various professional and partner institutions. To be ranked among the finalists , the candidates had to collect at least 51% of all possible points . The evaluation committees focused primarily on the comprehensive approach to social responsibility and sustainable development , the activities carried out and the monitoring of the effects .
The award for strategic integrity among for-profit legal entities was received by the company Lumar IG doo.
The project award in the category of small profit legal entities was received by the company: mBIT, doo (digITgreen ), and in the category of large profit legal entities by Žito doo (The path from grain to bread). The finalists in this category were also : Lidl Slovenia dookd (We collect plastic bottles for first intermediaries ), Žito doo and Lidl Slovenia dookd (Roza oktober) and Poslovni sistem Mercator doo (Srčna soseska ). The project award in the category of small non-profit legal entities was received by the Association of Diabetes Societies of Slovenia (#DarujemKilometres – movement for health and solidarity ), and in the category of large non-profit legal entities by the Mountaineering Association of Slovenia — Odbora inPlaninec (Project Decade of Inclusion – Odbora inPlaninec).
Among individuals , the Horus 2025 special award went to Dr. Uroš Lipušček , followed by other finalists: Valnea Jurečič, Tanja Andrejasič Wechsler and Alenka Sakelšek. The 2025 Strategist for Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development was Tanja Winter , Director, Development Agency Brod Moravice doo, Croatia. The ESRS EXPERT for Sustainable Reporting in 2025 was Kata Vidović, Director of Quality, Safety and Sustainable Development, Automatic servis doo.
HORUS 2025 evaluators were: Dr. Barbara Bradač Hojnik, Ivan Knechtl, Jasmina Roškar (vice president), Jože Gornik (president), Lan Wudler, mag. Anita Hrast, Martina Drakulič, Mojca Marija Jenčič Petrovčič, Monika Rajšp, mag. Natalie Cvikl Postružnik, Nomi Hrast, Simona Roškar, mag., Veronika Gruden, Vinko Nedelko.
At the same time, the ADRASTOS 2025 Youth Award ceremony took place – the Slovenian Youth Award for Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development. The judges for this award were: Andreja Lozar, Anej M. Irgolič, Danaja Postružnik (vice president), Gašper Nitraljevski (president), Kaja Bračič, Luka Derenčin, Luka Lah, Mišel Ristov, Petra Gerlca.
In the SEEDS OF THE PRESENT category, the winner was the Puš Project Odgovoren.si (Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Maribor), the other finalists were the projects: Entrepreneurship: from idea to tourism offer in the local environment (Franceta Prešeren Elementary School Črenšovci), Voice of the Youth: You Can’t Live Without Farms (Youth Association Without Excuses Slovenia) and Škou Šou – a charity event for young people (Youth Council Ajdovščina).
In the FUTURE VISIONS category, the winner was the WellForAll project – Advanced NAC nutritional supplements with a scientific design (Gimnazija Vič). Other finalists in this category were: ElektroSpin – Power is in your hands (ElektroSpin, SŠ Pietro Coppo Izola), AlpLink (AlpLink – youth group) and Future in Motion Conference 2026 (Student Organization of Slovenia (DOS)).
Candidates for the awards and recognitions of the HORUS and ADRASTOS calls received their awards and recognitions at the award ceremony , which took place on December 16, 2025 at the premises of Pošta Slovenije doo, Čopova 11, Ljubljana. The awardees received works of art – a sculptural work (strategic award) or a drawing (projects, special recognitions) – by the author Katja Majer, an academic sculptor.
The Horus Award is supported by numerous partners, including : the Slovenian Public Relations Society, the Employers’ Association of Slovenia, the Managers’ Association, the Styrian Chamber of Commerce, the Marketing Association of Slovenia, the Journalists’ Association of Slovenia, the Slovenian United Nations Association for Sustainable Development, the Slovenian Association for Quality and Excellence, the Center for Information, Cooperation and Development of Non-Governmental Organizations, the Diversity Charter of Slovenia, the British-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and others. The project is also co-financed this year by the applicants (for Horus), the IRDO Institute and the Youth Office of the Republic of Slovenia. The partner for monitoring media publications is the company Press Clipping. The partner for developing certification is the international certification body TÜV Austria.
